 Whetu Fun Day


Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.


My favorite part of the Amazing Race was racing all over town and finding the egg codes and going to the foursquare for the lollies to take a photo and came back to class to crack the code there was 6 of us me Imogen,Stella, Lexie,Abby,Sophie and the parent helper was Imogen's mum 


The rotation I enjoyed the most was the Picasso






bunnies because i liked doing the drawing part my  bunnies name was rainbow i took my bunny home and my mum  said that it looks so good and that the bunny looked amazing that it was so good 


During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick in the ground i got an ice block and an easter egg they were yummy and so good after i ate my ice block and easter egg i went in and finished my picasso bunny and it was so fun

KIte day 2021

On Friday we made some kites to fly at 2.00. T.he whole school made kites to fly at 2.00. But on Friday there was not a lot of wind so the kites would not fly.  We had another try on Monday where there was more wind. The kite that I made on Friday didn't fly that well on Friday.  On Monday it flew well. This is me with my puppy kite I made my kite with A3 paper and some string.  This is where we were making the kites I was sitting with my friends Dylan and Brody. We were working alongside together. And helping each other out and giving ideas.

  Today for whetu challenge  we made towers out of newspaper but  it  broke  because someone cut it but it was someone from our group in my group I had Liam Corey Ryan it was a good group ours was going to win but we took the top off because it was falling over but it was still a good mesherment the meshument was in the one hundred ours was 173 we would have one if it was taller look in one of the pitchers it was really tall but in the other photos it was just us getting started  it went really well .

 Today for play make create  and today I worked with Azahliah and my self Azahliah made a poster to go with our poison kit the poster had a cat and a witch on in the kit it had some jars to experiment with  here are some photos  This is all the stuff that we made we made a box and put some stuff in like a wand, potion, and some glass jars in the box we had an egg container in the  container we made it look like it had just come from the mail because we added packing peanuts and put the glass jars in the packing peanuts we put some black paper over the box
